Banana Bread. . . Need I say more!

I LOVE banana bread!! I add pecans to mine! Enjoy!

 

Banana Bread

12 Servings
Makes 2 loafs, 12 slices each!
Kid Friendly
Freeze well for 1 month

Ingredients

2.5 cups grains, wheat flour, whole-grain
1.5 tsp spices, cinnamon, ground
1.25 tsp baking soda
6 ml leavening agent, baking powder, continuous action, (1 1/4 tsp)
5 ml spices, nutmeg, ground, (1 tsp)
1/2 tsp salt
1 ml spices, cloves, ground, (1/4 tsp)
1/2 cup sugar, granulated
2 large egg whole egg
2/3 cup milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, 2% m.f.
2 tbsp canola oil
375 ml mashed banana, 1.5 cups (ripe)
150 ml apple sauce, canned, unsweetened, (2/3 cup)

Directions

-Preheat oven to 350F
-Two 9- by 5-inch (23 by 12.5cm) metal loaf pans, greased.

1: In a large bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, salt, and cloves.

2: In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and oil until blended. Stir in bananas and applesauce. Pour over mixture and stir until just combined.

3: Divide better evenly among loaf pans. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center of the muffin comes out clean. Let cool in pans on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then transfer to rack to completely cool!
