Slow Cooker Beef Stew!

by Bethany Vessey, Registered Dietitian on December 3, 2012

It’s getting colder and busier so I thought I would share this nutritious, delicious, and easy recipe with you all!

Last week I made this delicious beef stew for my husband and I. I found this recipe on one of my favorite sites “”. I love this site because it is easy to find tried and tested recipes that you know will be good. This one had over 1700 reviews and was rated 4.5 star!!! When I read the reviews many people were saying don’t change a thing to the original recipe, so I took their advice and I was not disappointed!

The only recommendations I have is to stir it at some point during the cooking, also if you decide to cook it on low it needs the 12 hours. My plan for next time is to put in on in the evening, stir it before I go to bed, then when I wake up in the am my lunch and/or dinner is ready!!!

Hope you enjoy this recipe and it makes eating healthy during this busy time a little bit easier for you and your family!

2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
